Signature Building Systems Awarded at 2022 World of Modular Conference
Signature Building Systems won First Place at the Modular Building Institute’s annual Awards of Distinction in the Permanent Multifamily 75,000+ sq. ft. category. Presented annually on the final night of the World of Modular conference, MBI’s Awards of Distinction represent the highest honors awarded in the modular construction industry. Winners are chosen by an independent panel of industry experts on the basis of architectural excellence, technological innovation, sustainability, and cost effectiveness.
Our award-winning project was The Meadows II: Phase I Apartments Development in Nantucket, MA, a collaboration with The Richmond Company, Inc., and consists of 178 modules (totaling 87,540 sq. ft. of living space). The development was created to provide residents of Nantucket with quality rental housing while adhering to strict design guidelines and optimized energy conservation performance levels.
Signature Building Systems is beyond proud of our entire team for the recognition we received at World of Modular, which was held at La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, TX. We attribute the success of the Meadows II: Phase I project to the collective efforts of our partners at The Richmond Company, Inc., Signature’s dedicated factory employees, and our commercial team. Constructing, transporting, and setting these modules was a logistical undertaking, and this honor further validates such a significant achievement.
