This two-story modular duplex in Fairfield County, CT, is our May 2021 Home of the Month. Optimizing space within its wide lot, the multi-family home is comprised of eight modular boxes custom-designed for apartment or condominium living.
The exterior features gabled porticos, mahogany front doors with matching sidelights, and double-hung Andersen windows. Inside each unit, the main floor boasts amenities atypical of multi-family buildings, including 10' ceilings, 8' doors, and radiant heat throughout.
Modern details
Stainless steel finishes, glass-front cabinets, and panelized appliances create an elegant, inviting ambiance.
An open floor plan encompasses much of the first floor, enhancing flow between the kitchen, living room, and dining room. The kitchen's Viking appliances and quartz countertops elevate the space, elegantly complementing the white cabinetry and stone backsplash. A spacious center island with a built-in wine fridge encourages guests to eat comfortably.
