We selected this 4-bedroom home in Toms River, NJ, as our November Home of the Month for its many qualities that make it an appealing build in 2020: a spacious open floor plan connecting the kitchen, family room, and dining room, a downstairs study that can easily flex as a guest room (it has an ensuite bath!), and multiple outdoor spaces to host friends and family.
A short walk from the bay, this beach haven offers prime views and plenty of room for entertaining. Set upon a garage built onsite, the entrance is accessed via a wraparound front porch. A cantilevered bay provides abundant natural light to the front of the home, while two sets of sliding doors provide access to the large back porch.
Each of its four large bedrooms offers views of the water. With one and a half baths located downstairs and two more upstairs, this home offers flexibility for visitors or a growing family. The upstairs laundry room is accessible through a louvered door, a convenient customization to facilitate household chores.
