Construction estimator

The Estimator will be responsible for determining all construction costs of a modular home. They will assist the sales team as a liaison for the Engineering and Purchasing departments. They will be involved in the sales process from the estimating stage through the review stage, ensuring accuracy and details prior to the orders release to the production facility.

This position reports directly to the Order Processing Manager. Advancement opportunities will be available if employee exemplifies competence, dependability, and necessary skills.

Position Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Estimate initial quotes for sales in a timely and accurate fashion.

  • Facilitate effective communication between the Sales and Engineering departments.

  • Provide Sales with quotes and prints in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate with the Purchasing and Sales department on non-standard materials.

  • Provide Engineering department with necessary documents to draft modular plans.

  • Utilize checklists to ensure draftsman receive all the information needed to complete their job.

  • Attend weekly Sales meetings and relay any issues to Order Processing Manager.

Field service technician

The Service Technician provides essential service to our customers through home inspections and prompt service repairs, ensuring homeowners are satisfied with their Signature homes. The job entails traveling to modular home sites in a company vehicle to perform construction-related service and warranty work for retail customers.

These repairs include but are not limited to: Adjusting interior doors, exterior doors, window adjustments, glass replacement, flooring repairs, roof repairs, replacement of interior trim, cabinet door adjustments, and documentation of items to be replaced or repaired in customer homes for warranty reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • Good people skills

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license’

  • Must be able to pass DOT medical exam

  • Comfort with traveling away from home 40-60 hours/week

  • Ability to work independently in the field

  • Electrical experience

  • Carpentry skills are a must


sales consultant

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for selling modular homes and components to home builders. He or she will oversee projects from preliminary design through completion, communicating and consulting with clients throughout the process. The Sales Consultant will interact with Signature’s Order Processing, Purchasing, and Engineering Departments to ensure the builder’s expectations are met, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Position Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline via builder accounts in assigned geographic region

  • Nurture relationships with clients though trust and execution

  • Communicate and consult with builders, providing timely responses to any inquiries

  • Interact with internal departments to advance plans and orders through Signature’s sales process

  • Ensure accuracy in orders, pricing, and plans for clients
